Recently, professional watch site PuristSPro has held its three-day 10th anniversary celebration in Las Vegas. The Chopard has taken part in one day activity. And Chopard offered its gists for PuristSPro, including a L.U.C Manufacture 15 anniversary retrospective, a small racing, special presentations made by Chopard co-president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele and the evening party held at Ferrari dealers.

The celebration IGOTT-2 was held from May 30 to June 1 in Las Vegas. Many world-famous watch brands and independent watch makers are gethered here, participating in rich activity and praise excellent watchmaking technology.

On May 31st, Purists were taken on a Chopard go-karting excursion and had the opportunity to race with Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, Co-President of Chopard Swiss Watches. Participants raced in three heats vying to make it to the finals. The top ten drivers competed in the final round and, after several arduous laps, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele and Marc Hruschka, President and CEO of Chopard USA, awarded the top three winners with pieces from Chopard’s Classic Racing accessories collection.

The Swiss watchmaker’s Night of the Bund benefit gala dinner was lit by the megawatt presence of more than 200 VIPs, industry elites, and celebs from China and abroad. As the official partner of SIFF, Jaeger-LeCoultre was the host of a benefit gala dinner at the Waldorf Astoria on the Bund.

Commenting on the historical partnerships between Jaeger-LeCoultre and film festivals, Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Jérôme Lambert said, “Jaeger-LeCoultre has long-established relations with the film industry. We have always been committed to supporting and promoting film culture, and are deeply honoured to become the official partner of SIFF this year. Now, Chanel’s latest iteration of its signature J12 Chromatic timepiece was presented in dramatic style. Guests arrived at the Helutrans Gallery, nestled in the Tanjong Pagar heavy industrial estate in Singapore, the first sign that the event was to be an unconventional one.

The black and white installation referenced Gabrielle Chanel’s favourite shades, and hinted at what awaited guests in the final room, where the full collection of J12 Chromatic timepieces was finally unveiled. There, the theme of the evening was made manifest, with the Chromatic’s unique titanium ceramic exterior oscillating between different tones of grey, black and white. The show was modeled after an installation-style exhibit. Guests were invited through different halls meant to evoke the birth of the mechanics of time, with the first corridor being lit with tableaus of stormy grey skies and an aurora borealis.
