2011 witnesses the third and most excellent watch of L-evolution collection. The latest L-evolution is not only equipped with Tourbillon and large date, it also teamed with power reserve indication directly connected with automatic rotor.

As we all known, power reserve usually locates at dial and plate of movement. However, this time BlancPain Swiss Watches offer the rare third situation, that is putting power reserve indication on the subdial of automatic rotor, with which it is interdependent. This new complication, already patented in 2007 and slightly modified since, is the result of more than two years’ work by the Blancpain R&D teams.

Through this outstanding invention, the balance rotor has played a important role in transferring power reserve. It helps to save the limited space of dial.

This BlancPain L-evolution Tourbillon Larger Date Power Reserve Indication is equipped with Calibre 4225G movemment, providing 7 days power reserve. It fully shows through the transparent sapphire case back. It also features Blancpain’s “flying” tourbillon and double-disc large date mechanism. Available in satin-brushed white or red gold versions, the L-evolution Tourbillon Large Date features the characteristic dial of this collection, in a colour matching that of the case. Finally, the rubber-lined alligator leather strap ensures that this new milestone model is also extremely comfortable to wear.

Vintage Series 2011 new Vintage Original Carbon watches have been available. The inspiration of its design is still closely linked to plane dashboard. It still continues its clear legibility. New Vintage Original Carbon has great taste degree of nostalgia, but also contains today’s watchmaking spirit in details. Black dial set off white luminous hands and hour markers.

New Vintage Original Carbon series differs from previous watch models. It is teamed with enhanced crystal glass. But it also provides two versions equipped with high-end Swiss movement, BR 123 self-winding movement with small seconds and BR 126 chronograph movement. The date window respectively locates at 6 o’clock and 4:30 position.
