Famous Versace watches have entered the Indian market courtesy of the Timex Group, with a collection priced between INR 50,000 – INR 8 lacs.

The private launch party was held at the Taj Mansingh Hotel, New Delhi, and attended by actress Bipasha Basu; CEO Timex Group India, V.D. Wadhwa; and Paolo Marai, President and CEO Vertime.

The watches will be sold in key boutiques across the country.

Basu said: ‘I congratulate Versace and the Timex Group for offering Indians this spectacular collection of watches. I have always loved the range of watches presented by Versace and I feel honoured to be here to share this momentous occasion with all of you. I wish you all the very best.’

Hublot is the Official Watchmaker of Formula 1. Recently, Hublot Swiss Watches has presented its first King Power F1 Chronograph Tourbillon watch developed with and for the world of Formula 1.

This Hublot King Power F1 Chronograph Tourbillon is in a limited edition of just 50 pieces. The case of the Hublot King Power F1 Chronograph Tourbillon watch is 48 mm in diameter. It features a special tourbillon cage and a balance with an F1 brake disc decoration along the same lines as the watch bezel which ia made from ceramic and with a circular satin finish inspired by the F1 brake disc. The strap, stitched onto rubber, is made from Nomex, a synthetic fibre developed by Dupont De Numours, and used because of its very low combustibility for manfacturing the overalls worn by F1 drivers. Hublot King Power F1 Chronograph Tourbillon watch is equipped with the tourbillon chronograph movement HUB7300. It has a 5-day power reserve. Hublot King Power F1 Chronograph Tourbillon watch is water resistant to 10 metres.

Swiss haute horlegerie maison Breguet is back in town with the launch of Reine de Naples, paying tribute to its original wristwatch made by the legendary Abraham-Louis Breguet two centuries ago for the Queen of Naples.

Breguet’s Reine de Naples collection is inspired by an early bracelet watch A.-L. Breguet created for Bonaparte’s sister Caroline, Queen of Naples. With their customary care and precision, Breguet’s watchmakers have created a symbol of feminine refinement in a contemporary jewellery watch.
 

Breguet Reine de Naples is specially designed for fashionably elegant young women. Crafted with the modern and stylish woman in mind, the curving egg-shaped steel case, the off-set crown, the white mother-of-pearl dial and the sapphire-crystal caseback are all subtle yet distinctive characteristics that blend femininity with originality. The alligator strap is harmonised with the dial’s hue. Off-centred hour circle locates at 6 o’clock, blued steel Breguet hands with eccentric moon-cut tip.

Also worth noting is the wholly contemporary use of silicon for the escapement, which, according to the CEO of Breguet Swiss Watches Nicolas G. Havek, contributes to the ‘precision and reliability of the anti-magnetic movement’. Its gold oscillating weight is engine-turned by hand.
