Actually, BlancPain Swiss watches will released a special edition lady model timepiece for Valentine’s Day. Previous love tokens included a flyback chronograph and a formed case cocktail watch. BlancPain also prepared a special and perfect gift for lady in 2011 Valentine’s Day. In 2011, cupid’s arrow strikes with a charming interpretation of BlancPain’s complete calendar moonphase. Besides the day and month displays, the date indicator is tipped with a red heart, and a small seconds hand sweeps around the moonphase display at 6 o’clock. A single row of diamonds embellish the bezel with a heart-shaped ruby set at 12 o’clock. Roman numerals and diamond hour markers are applied on the mother-of-pearl dial. If you love her, this is a perfect present to express your love.

Even the movement is special. The Saint-Valentin 2011 lady model is fitted with an automatic Calibre 6763 visible through the sapphire crystal display case back. This thin movement features an oscillating weight engraved with three hearts. With a 100-hour power reserve, the movement is both beauty and brawn. The timepiece is limited to a series of 99 pieces and presented in a wooden jewellery case wrapped in a leather corset. The key that opens the case is enclosed within a heart.

Recently, DeWitt Swiss Watches has launched the new Twenty-8-Eight Regulator A.S.W. watch. Its designing inspiration is to pay tribute to Art Deco design, especially to the the exploration trends of USA after the Great Depression. In this background, many American industrial designers are fascinated by the streamlined aesthetic design, such as cars, ships, factories, revolving restaurant and many modern products’ innovation and diversification. A very influential designer, Norman Bel Geddes, whose design is full of creativity and bring new understanding of the world. He said:

“We believe the way of previous doing things, so we were locked out of thinking. And we always think that this way is the best method. With the recipitation of time, we become too stable, losing the spirit of adventure, meanwhile, it also deprived us of our sense of innovation. We lost the will to pursue upward mobility. Sometimes, we don’t need to consider every aspect of one thing. We should always do a good job for the accident! This requires more imagination, more creativity, as this, we will be progressing.”

Similarly, Mr. DeWitt has the same business philosophy as well. Mr. DeWitt has many unique insights in watch industry . In 1932, Norman Bel Geddes published his work, causing a great sensation. His thoughts and ideas become a source of creative thinking of several generations. The most interesting is the title of his book is The Horizon, in which Twenty-8-Eight Regulator ASW finds inspiration in anti-submarine warfare.
