Recently, the Swiss watchmaker Vanguard TAG Heuer announced that TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887 Chronograph goes on sale in China. On the day, the vice president of LVMH Watch & Jewellery in North America, Mr. Andre Fortier, attended as a professional watchmaker. He interpreted the avant-garde Swiss watchmaking technology on-site and TAG Heuer’s 150-year-old watchmaking legend.

TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887 Chronograph is the evolutionary version of 1964 Chronograph iconic chronograph. It faithfully inherits the original one’s delicacy, simplicity, elegance and easy-reading character. With a 28,800 / hour vibration frequency, the Calibre 1887 is embedded 39 diamonds. The 29.3mm x 7.13mm movement is composed of 320 parts and the power reserve is up to 50 hours. Optimized Calibre 1887 chronograph can be started within 2 / 1000 seconds. Its HER system is the most efficient winding system in the world.
Calibre 1887 is automatic rewinding chronograph movement with high efficiency rewinder (bi-directional winding mechanism with double catch lever). It features semi-instant date, stop second and chronograph function with colum wheel. Oscillating pinion with optimized chronograph starts 2/1’000 sec. The annular balance has 3 arms made of glucydur. Calibre 1887 chronograph uses top Swiss balance-spring with micro blazed finishing.
